Amie Brown-Torrecuso, EA
Owner/ Tax Preparer
For over 20 years, Amie has provided comprehensive tax services to small businesses and individual taxpayers. As a qualified Enrolled Agent (EA), she can represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled Agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), are generally unrestricted regarding which taxpayers they can represent, as well as the types of tax matters they can handle.
She now serves individuals and small businesses under the Tax Prep Plus LLC umbrella. Additionally, the firm provides bookkeeping and business support services. Amie loves to speak with individuals and small groups about bettering their lives through effective tax planning and preparation.
Prior to opening Tax Prep Plus LLC, Amie was a skilled member of the team at Scott Rudolph Tax Strategies for over five years. In addition to preparing a large volume of the firm’s returns, Amie managed office operations and directed the seasonal support staff. Tax Prep Plus LLC and Scott Rudolph Tax Strategies LLC continue to be mutually supportive to provide clients a full spectrum of support as their business and tax lives change.
Additionally, Amie was employed with a large retail tax firm for over eight years, individually preparing over 300 tax returns, while managing a large team of associates.
Before shifting to full-time tax preparation, Amie held multiple positions in in long-term care management. As a licensed Administrator and skilled organizational leader, she developed and implemented policies and procedures to maintain the highest levels of efficiency and regulatory compliance in all areas of facility operations.
A lifelong Bucks County resident, Amie enjoys cooking, watching documentaries, and spending time with friends and family.

Raymond has been part of the back of the house operations at Tax Prep Plus LLC since its inception. He is tax trained and supports client data entry services and file maintenance. Ray is a great support to his peers and motivates everyone in the office.
Raymond retired from his position supporting operations at Bank of New York Mellon on Wall Street. The slower pace of retirement left him longing for more interaction. In addition to his supporting the tax office, Ray works full time at a local day care center, where he enjoys being a stand-in grandfather figure to many. Ray supports various roles there – from teacher support, lunch and play time monitor, and storyteller. Additionally, he serves as the center bus driver providing safe transportation services to the kids.
His coworkers at Tax Prep Plus enjoy his joyful spirit at the office whenever extra data entry support is needed.
Client Communications Manager
Alysa joins the Tax Prep Plus LLC team this year as our Client Communications Manager. She is a recent graduate of Lycoming College where she studied Corporate Communication and Business Administration. Alysa has a strong background in customer service and information management, as well as social media marketing. With a core focus on client satisfaction, clients will have another resource to support their needs. In addition to her work at Tax Prep Plus LLC team, she works with a local Health and Life Insurance brokers, where she interacted with both current and potential clients across multiple media platforms.
Alysa has demonstrated a passion for developing and implementing focused marketing strategies to be deployed across varied social media platforms to build brand recognition and support client growth and retention goals. A creative thinker, she applies her skill sets to assigned projects and exceeds expectations. Tax Prep Plus LLC is excited to offer this type of support to our clients to help them showcase their businesses.
Alysa spends her time outside of the office in the gym coaching a club volleyball team and spending time with family and friends. Alysa and friends love exploring the exciting nooks and crannies of Doylestown and the surrounding area trying new restaurants and visiting small unique businesses.
Peter Mills has been serving his Bucks County community as a firefighter and EMT for over twenty years. Additionally, he maintains a consulting business with ties across the country, and brings his unique skill set to Tax Prep Plus LLC during tax season to serve as a consultant, specializing in entrepreneurs.
Pete is also integral to the running of the office and maintains support throughout the year. He has a vast knowledge of multiple operating systems, web design, and social media marketing. He’s an invaluable asset to our team.
When he’s not volunteering with his local fire company, Pete enjoys creating different projects with 3D printing technology and spending time with his children.
Frank Torrecuso is part of our tax office support staff. He is familiar with multiple operating systems and user platforms.
Frank was raised in England and Italy and received an advanced degree in Letters and Philosophy (Ph. D) from the University of Salerno, Italy. He speaks multiple languages and has cultivated an international online community, where he met his wife. He also has a background in farming and enjoys gardening in his spare time.
Frank has made his home in Bucks County since 2002, and enjoys reading, movies, and a glass of good wine with good friends.
